Veterinary Diagnostics

Diagnostics are helpful for all stages of pet care. They help establish baseline values on healthy patients, determine the cause of illness for sick patients, and monitor chronic conditions. Equipped with an in-house lab, cutting-edge digital X-ray, and ultrasound technology, we quickly evaluate your pet’s condition to make sure we tailor our treatment plans accordingly.

Annual Testing

During annual wellness examinations, we advise conducting age-specific blood tests to establish a health baseline and verify that there are no changes compared to the previous year’s results. Any changes detected may signal the early development of a medical condition, necessitating further testing or treatment.

Illness Diagnostics

If your pet is visiting us for a sick appointment, we can perform numerous diagnostic tests right here. Fast results contribute to a quicker recovery for your furry friend. Our in-house lab offers a variety of blood tests, and we also provide advanced imaging services on-site.

Tests we run in our lab include:

  • Complete blood counts (CBCs)
  • Blood chemistry panels
  • Fecal exams
  • Heartworm testing
  • Tick-borne disease testing
  • Urinalysis
  • Cytology
  • And more!

Advanced Imaging

Digital X-rays and ultrasound technology allow us to assess your pet’s internal structures, including bones, organs, and soft tissues.

Digital X-rays improve upon traditional film methods by delivering high-quality images more quickly while minimizing radiation exposure for your pet.

Ultrasound is a non-invasive approach that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal structures. We perform abdominal ultrasounds to evaluate the liver, kidneys, bladder, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract, and more. Additionally, we offer cardiac ultrasounds, which enable us to view the heart in real-time, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of various heart conditions.
